Action Committees

These committees are small independent groups focused mostly on specific local issues. The following committees are already at work and you are welcome to join them:

You don’t have to be a Humane Carolina member to be in a committee, only willing to give a few flexible hours a month. Committee chairs report their activities at the quarterly Humane Carolina meetings. Committee members are welcome to attend but it’s not necessary.

We’ll be adding more committees as people show interest. Here are some possibilities:

  • Dissection Alternatives in Schools
  • Fundraising Events
  • Pet Overpopulation
  • Humane Education in Schools

Please, contact us if you would like to chair or be a member of these Committees. Information and educational materials are provided.

Please join us today and find out how you can help us help the animals.
